The lightheart solo awning only 28 5 oz. And is rock solid. I first saw this in franklin and bought one after a few minutes of looking at it. Awning fly on front extends out 30 inches.

10 inch carbon fiber stays in the back corners. This is how i set it up on nights when it may rain. Still this is much roomier than most other solo tents. Velcro the stick to the vent covers to open the vent.

Roomy and it can take the weather. I just finished a cdt sobo thru hike using a lightheart solo and unlike on the at i slept every trail night in the tent for exactly 5 months finishing three days ago apart from cowboy camping just the last two nights. Of all of those solo options the lightheart solo is very clearly my favorite. The lightheart gear solo awning is lighter and provides nicer platform for managing camp life in the rain.

The solong 6 is so long that hikers over 6 8 will fit comfortably in this tent. Still had room inside for all my gear except the wet stuff which i hung over the awning. The ridge vent has a short plastic stick at the bottom. Line lock adjustments on all tie outs.

The solo awning has adequate room to store all of your gear inside the tent.
