This is a great activity to work as a team with siblings parents or friends when not social distancing to figure out a solution. Are you ready to take on a fun stem challenge. In this paper plate maze stem challenge kids are challenged to make a marble maze using household materials. They must follow all elements of a real design process including brainstorming blueprints prototypes tweaking and testing their designs. This engineering activity is great for kids from kindergarten age up through 4th 5th and 6th grades. Boys in years 3 and 4 created marble runs there are some very creative results.

Once students are done creating and testing it is fun to have them try out each other s creations.
